"My background as a practicing Architect prior to joining TJ Maxx makes my sensitivity to a job "well done" more acute. Now that I am functioning as an "owner" I see even more clearly the positive impact a competent and thorough architect will have on a project.  In these economic times it is especially comforting to know that I have [DAA's] services on my side."
Joe McComiskey
Assistant Vice President, Architecture/Store Planning, TJ Maxx
Project: TJ Maxx Stores

"It is through Design Affiliation Architecture's reputation, knowledge and experience in various requirements of approval agencies that MARTA Technologies has been able to meet its [State of Florida] time requirements. The facilities were designed by DAA to work with the local topography and to be cosmetically attractive in any area. We are very proud that our facilities are considered the most attractive in the MVIP in the State of Florida."

"As a result of [DAA's] renovation efforts, we were able to achieve an additional floor of office spaces, an interior atrium with fountain, and sufficient square footage of office rental space to justify the construction costs. We are pleased with our office building ...and are also pleased to have the to opportunity recommend Mr. Perdue and DAA."

"Due to unexpected events, the final stages of this building process took place with school being in session. While not an ideal situation, it was handled with efficiency and the safety of our student population came first in the decision making process. Having joint cooperation and planning enabled us to conduct an ongoing school program with construction taking place. "The overall design has met our educational needs both in terms of aesthetic value and utility."

"Mr. Perdue, assisted by his staff, provided site supervision and coordination with the contractor, suppliers and congregation members. He worked diligently to keep the contractor on schedule and to ensure that the project was being constructed as specified and that it would be completed on time. He showed considerable imagination and innovative ability in accomplishing the integration of the new construction in to the existing facilities. He conscientiously represented our organization in the resolution of conflicts and the contractor and/or suppliers and sought to protect our interest and to keep the project within budget. He provided above average participation in this project and demonstrated a sincere interest in the success of our construction project."

"Mr. Perdue and his associates demonstrated effective planning and effort in insuring that all construction activity was completed on schedule while maintaining a safe environment for our students, staff and visitors.  I am pleased with the diligence and skill that Design Affiliation and Tom Perdue have demonstrated toward the successful completion of the construction at Stanton."

"In essence, a new building was constructed inside the walls and roof of the old one. It was a very difficult project and involved the total reconstruction of floor space in an amount ranging from 20,000 to 25,000 square feet. Mr. Perdue did what I believe is a very good job, especially when considering the budget constraints placed on him. [Mr. Perdue] probably has more experience in renovation of old structures than any other architect presently practicing here in town."

"Mr. Perdue and his staff provided constant attention to our project and kept our committees informed of design and construction activity. We feel that Mr. Perdue provided our Center with effective design work and construction management which enabled us to realize the accomplishment of our goals."
